About
I am currently a PhD candidate in Carleton's School of Public Policy and Administration. I am studying sustainable energy policy in Canada from a systems of innovation perspective.
I think it is important that Canada develop an approach to climate policy that is rooted in Canada’s unique history, ecological context, and economic structure. Policy can learn from Canada's patterns of technological development to manage the transition to a low-carbon economy. Doing so requires moving beyond calls for "technology neutral" policies towards focusing on a variety of specific low-carbon energy systems and their social, political and technological development process.
