I am an Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I am also cross-appointed to the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and am a research associate with the Emergency Communication Research Unit.
I have a PhD in Sociology (McMaster University) and was a SSHRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton.
